Tempe has no shortage of apartments, but for Arizona State University students, the best ones share a few key qualities. They make it easy to get to campus, help you beat the Arizona heat, and give you room to study, work out and relax. Here’s what separates the top apartments in Tempe from the rest.

Walkability to ASU

The best apartments in Tempe keep your commute short. Walking to class saves you money on parking and time in traffic. VERVE Tempe, at Terrace Road and Orange Street, is within walking distance of the ASU Tempe campus and close to Greek Row.

A Pool Worth Using

In Tempe, a great pool isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. VERVE’s rooftop pool comes with a hot tub, a cold plunge, a clubroom with a game lounge and photo booth, and an entertaining kitchen.

A Real Fitness Center

Top communities replace your gym membership. VERVE’s two-story fitness center includes smart workout equipment, indoor and outdoor fitness spaces, a dedicated yoga room and a wellness suite with a meditation room and sauna.

Space to Study

Look for quiet, dedicated study areas. VERVE’s study lounge offers private and group study spaces, so you have options when the library is packed.

Fun Built In

The best apartments make it easy to unwind without leaving home. At VERVE, residents enjoy a golf simulator, fire pits, a game lawn and grilling stations. See every amenity.

Floor Plans for Every Living Style

Whether you want to live alone or with three friends, the right community offers choices. VERVE Tempe has studio through four-bedroom floor plans.

Pet-Friendly Features

If you’re bringing a pet, look for spaces built for them. VERVE includes a pet spa and dog run.

Responsive Management

Even the best amenities don’t matter much if maintenance requests sit for days. When you tour, ask how requests are submitted, how quickly they’re typically handled and whether there’s on-site staff. Reading recent reviews can also show how a community treats its residents over a full year.

Everyday Convenience

A lobby coffee bar, ground-floor retail and nearby Valley Metro light rail make daily life easier. Explore our features and neighborhood pages.
